Get a 0.50% interest rate discount on a new purchase mortgage and a 0.25% discount on refinances (including portfolio modifications) on a primary residence. These discounts remain in effect for the life of the loan and are not contingent on employment with M&T as long as mortgage payments continue to be automatically deducted from an M&T account.

Receive special consideration for an Overdraft Line of Credit, which is subject to credit approval.

​Best Rates on M&T Visa Credit Card

The M&T Visa® Credit Cards offer employees the best possible rate for each card type, as well as a discounted $1 overdraft transfer fee when you link your credit card to your M&T Employee Checking account for overdraft protection. 

​Installment Loan Discount

Receive a 0.50% MyChoice Premium℠ discount off of the approved standard rate for all fixed rate installment loans – except automobile loans – when payments are automatically deducted from an M&T account (based on credit profile).

​M&T CHOICEquity Discount

Receive a MyChoice Premium discount on newly originated M&T CHOICEquity Lines of Credit and on credit line increases to existing CHOICEquity accounts. The 0.40% discount applies to the variable portion of the CHOICEquity account.

​Auto Loan Discount

M&T employees receive an additional 1% discount off their approved risk-based priced MyChoice Premium rate. (ACH payments required.) Discount applies to direct loans made through M&T's retail branches, Telephone Banking Center and mtb.com only.
