Getting started is easy: Simply create an account, enter your town, city, or state, and join a subreddit dedicated to your area. Many larger cities even have subreddits dedicated to real estate-related topics. Once you are a member, identify topics within your area of expertise, answer questions, and offer information and advice.

Build your brand on LinkedIn

LinkedIn is more than just a social media platform for connecting with colleagues and industry associates. It’s also perfect for showcasing your professional identity, building your brand, and connecting with potential clients.

When creating posts, be sure the content demonstrates your expertise in your field, such as market insights, professional tips, success stories, and career experiences. When posting, try experimenting with different formats, such as short videos, infographics, and carousel posts.

Take advantage of Facebook & Instagram Reels

Short educational videos are one of the best ways to market yourself on social media. This is because social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram generally prioritize quick-hit videos since they increase their advertising revenue. The result is your content is shown to more people and more frequently. One more reason to take advantage of these social media platforms: Facebook is the most popular social media platform with 3.1 billion monthly active users while Instagram ranks third with two billion.
